This past February, Escondido came together for Love Esco Day 2026 on February 7th! At Grape Day Park in partnership with California Center for the Arts, Escondido, we celebrated nonprofits, supported local businesses, and united neighbors in giving back to the community we love. It was a day to remember!

Throughout this past Love Esco Month (February 2026) 781 volunteers served across 41 projects, giving a total of 2,884 volunteer hours to bless Escondido!

• 3.22 tons of trash and debris removed from Reidy Creek

• 87 bags of litter collected citywide

• 5 lbs of recyclables picked up off the streets

• 450 cigarette butts (0.6 lbs) cleaned up

• 25 blood donors - impacting an estimated 66 lives

• 3 school garden projects completed

• 101 homeless neighbors served a warm meal

• 26 senior dogs walked

• 300 hygiene kits packed for homeless neighbors

• 100 sack lunches packed for Interfaith clients
